May’s Employee of the Month

By James Fairhurst

We’re pleased to announce the winners of May’s Employee of the Month award. Every month our employees have the chance to nominate their colleagues who uphold one of our six company values, which are:

Care: We put individuals at the heart of everything we do

Commitment: We continuously improve our services

Communication: We listen with interest & behave with integrity

Compassion: We treat individuals with dignity, empathy & respect

Competence: We have the ability to understand individuals

Courage: We strive to do the right thing, the right way, for the right reasons

Congratulations to our May winners and to everyone who was nominated.

Care

Tom Leek – Stoke

Tom goes out of his way in trying to make all the service users happy. He does impressions to make them laugh and also buys them little gifts out of his own money if they are feeling don to cheer them up.

Commitment

Monica Monks – Clacton

At 70 years of age, Monica works 6-7 days per week on our DHC round. Monica provides outstanding care and is also one of the carers who likes to shadow our new carers. She ensures they are trained to a high standard so our service users are guaranteed to receive the same high standard from everyone. Monica is always happy to share ideas and go the extra mile for her service users and colleagues.

Communication

Allan Bell – South Tyneside

Alan is part of our recruitment team, he has an excellent telephone manner and is at the fore front to increasing the number of carers working in South Tyneside. He is dedicated to finding the correct people to work for CRG Homecare, amazing work Allan.

Compassion

Sarah Torr – Bolton

Sarah always goes above and beyond to ensure all her service users needs are met. Sarah also takes time to listen and provide excellent care to all our service users.

Competence

Raymond Evans – Rotherham

Raymond recently went above and beyond to help one of his service users. The service user had tickets to go and see The Killers and had held them since before the start of Covid. Unfortunately the service user had no one to go with so Ray agreed to go and even stayed with the service user till 12AM to make it happen.

Courage

Louise Pickering – Burnley

Louise is an excellent part of the team. She is always looking for ways to improve the quality in the branch and always listens to service users, relatives and carers and actions any concerns. Everything Louise does is always done with compassion, respect and dignity.
